Who put the Roof on..Who Who December 30, 2013

4 guys from JR Roofing came out today and put the roof on.   Took about 6 hours.  Each guy started in a corner.

Can't wait for the Cypress Creek Hemlock siding to be put on.

Garage door was put on also last week.

Electrical and HVAC - December 19, 2013

Both started on Wednesday when we did the walk through with the electrician. When we went back on Friday so my hubby could do the wiring for the surround sound, they said they would be done that day.  We will go back by on Monday to see the end result. It was a warm rainy day today-got up in the low 50's.

Rough draft outline of the back side of the kitchen.  Counters, Frig and Stove.  I can't wait to see my cabinets in place!  My dilemma is what color to paint the walls!  I want contrast for my cream cabinets.  We still have to pick out the color of the granite.

There was some extra tar paper that we cut to size to mimic our furniture.  This way we could place our floor outlets easier.

Laundry room was measured wrong!  We have to remove the closet that I was going to be putting my vacuum and cleaning supplies in. UGH

Framing complete.

We have some concerns on the inside regarding a few room sizes that we don't think are right.  Laundry, WIC and the Master Bathroom.  We are going to measure them Sunday. Then we will discuss with the Field Mgr on Monday.

The Framing Begins December 10, 2013

The temp today was in the 20's.  But with the windchill it was about 0 and 10 above!!!

Husband said the crew of 4 were working diligently.   

Wood Delivery Dec 09, 2013

They delivered the wood today and hubby will be staying the night in his truck because he heard a build in the area had a furnace stolen!!!!  The temps are in the teens and low 20's! 

Let's hope they get the framing complete quickly. Fingers crossed +

Orange is the insulation that was apply after the waterproofing was sprayed on.

They got them done very quick. Tomorrow the forms will be taken off.

Truck Detained...December 3, 2013

They were supposed to start pouring the walls today.  Received a call from the field manager that the truck bringing up the forms for the walls got pulled over and detained.

Hopefully they will be back tomorrow!

WHY??? November 15, 2013

Hubby met the FM today at the house and discovered that some of the re-rods have been bent! And somebody took the frame and left the inside of the Wayne Home sign on the ground. REALLY??? I pray this is not a sign for things to come!  Hubby does not want to sleep there until it gets done.

I guess the rods will be able to get bent back but that is not the point!

They were suppose to be out today to start pouring the walls.  Got a text from our FM stating they wouldn't be able to start until Monday!  Would have been a great couple of days to do it before the cold front moves in.  Rain on Sunday!

This is me waiting since summertime for the house to be built.  The cutout is where the house is suppose to be!
